Nisha Ganatra

Nisha Gantra is a writer/director whose acclaimed debut feature, Chutney Popcorn won numerous awards at festivals all over the world. Her sophomore feature, Cosmopolitan premiered at SXSW. Nisha also directed Cake, The Hunters and Pete’s Christmas . Nisha's work for television includes Transparent, Steven King's Haven for SyFy, the movie Fast Food High, and she wrote the The Cheetah Girls: One World for Disney. She also wrote and directed Beholder for the ITVS/PBS series Futurestates. Nisha was presented with Women In Film's Original Vision Award and was selected as one of Filmmaker Magazine's Indie Filmmakers to watch. Her new film LATE NIGHT, starring Emma Thompson and Mindy Kaling, is in theaters June 7 in LA and NYC and opens nationwide June 14!
